Anonymous: the descriptions of the sponsors' interest- like 'likes confident tributes etc.'- is that OOC knowledge or do our tributes know they like those characteristics in a tribute.

The announcements of who the sponsors are watching, are the same as what we say on our posts, so the tributes can gather information from that, and from their mentors.  So more or less, yeah, they can find out little things the sponsors are looking for.

Anonymous: Can we still Para the day/night of PT scores?

PT Score paras should be finished by now. Now that we’re on the Interview task, it’s a new IC day, but you can still para and post OS! Just keep in mind that we’re now on Day 6 in the Capitol. Keep on tagging those #Captiol36!

You're Invited to the 7th Annual Tribute Ball
It’s time for the Annual Tribute Ball!  The Tribute Ball was a tradition created by former GMs, Aqua LeighAnn and Stellaphina Star, to give tributes a chance to let loose and have fun before going into the arena.
This years theme is Glow in the Dark.  The ballroom is illuminated by blacklight.  Your stylists have created neon outfits for you that glow under the lights, and your prep team has painted your hair and faces so you can make an impression.
There is paint for you to paint the walls, or each other. A long lit bar serves drinks that seem to glow themselves.  Music fills the room, and lights fly over the dance floor in the center.  There is a photo booth, so you can capture your memories, and as much brightly colored food as you can eat. Tonight, your GMs encourage you to make a mess, be colorful, and have fun.  It may be the last time, after all.

Note: The Ball begins on Friday, August 1st, as soon as you are available, however, you must complete your interview in order to go.  It is optional to attend the ball, but highly encouraged, as this is your last time to finalize any alliances, and enjoy the Capitol before going into the arena.  If you would like to para with either of your GMs, just message us to see when we’re available.  The Ball will last for two OOC days, and all paras must be closed before you go to bed on the  Saturday the 2nd, as the Bloodbath will be assigned on the 3rd.  This task is merely for fun, so enjoy it!

Please make sure to tag all Ball paras and OSs: #GlowBall36 and definitely don’t forget to post your status update and, as always, tag it: #WoFMUpdate.

Mandatory Task #8: Interviews

This is it, your final appearance pre-arena. This is your time to shine, to win over your sponsor, and to make sure Panem remembers you. Interviews with Caesar Flickerman are always a really big deal, so let your stylist make you fancy! The audience is waiting!

Task: When you’re ready to begin your interview, submit a starter to Caesar Flickerman. You have the next two OOC days to complete this task with one of your mods. Once submitted, Caesar will post the interview starter and we’ll reblog back and forth until the interview is over. Again, your interview must be completed by the time your GMs log off on Thursday night.
Interview starters look like this:

GM Avalon: *struts onto the stage, smiling widely and waving* Hey ya’ll! Caesar, it’s a pleasure, as always!
GM Gwen: *walks onto the stage, head held high* So we meet again, Caesar!

Anonymous: Another factor was that maybe people didn't feel like they belonged? I noticed that veteran players have a clique going, and I did feel sometimes that fitting in was kind of difficult. But I'm still here and I love it. I just wish almost everyone else thinks so

I don’t think that’s it. 7 of the 8 people that disappeared have played in previous WoFM seasons or were apart of the last season of APOG (the HGRP we’re canon with). They were all veteran players themselves, which perhaps makes it sting a little more that they didn’t give us a heads up.

As for not feeling like you fit in, I apologize. I think this season the OOC has been less active, but I don’t think there’s been a huge clique problem. I’ve seen it in the past be much much worse. I don’t think that anyone’s been unfriendly or unwelcoming at all, but if you need to discuss it more, come to us!

Anonymous: I'm not asking for anything specific, but what in your opinion separated Sloane's and Fay's private trainings from those who got lower scores? For future reference!

Sloane and Fay’s PTs were special because they employed something creative and different, something that only they could’ve done. I won’t say more. If you want to know more, you’ll have to ask them.

Anonymous: It's not your fault ♥ You guys are awesome. Honestly, people should have been more active because school is out of the way. It was just rude of them to leave without saying anything. Their roles could have been given to so many more deserving players that would have stuck around but didn't get the opportunity to.

Thank you greyface <333 And I agree and disagree. I know that there were a couple people who just had circumstances arise and things happen to them that were out of their control. However, there were a couple that just disappeared without a word and yes, I agree on that. Just a heads up would’ve been a nice thing to get and we only got that from one person.

Trust me when I say, we get that real life happens, even while school is out people are still busy. I have 2 jobs and Gwen’s gone on a last minute trip and has a summer college class, but we still make sure to be here for you guys. No one is asking that you’re on 24/7 because we can’t be either.

I also think that this kind of thing tends to happen in some other RPGs and we’ve just been lucky enough to not see it happen to us yet. We expected maybe a couple people to drop but not 8.

Anyways, it’s alright, we’ll just push through and have fun with who’s left!

Anonymous: Would you consider this season to be your least active one?

Yes, I would say so. Gwen and I are just so distraught over it. We’re just not sure what’s gone wrong, especially because we asked that people reserve if they knew they’d be active and stick around. Is it the month? Just because it’s summer? A random coincidence of people having personal stuff going on? Or is it us? We’re trying not to take it personal, though, but it’s hard.

Anonymous: how long do we have to para our reactions?

You have the rest of tonight and tomorrow.  The interview task will be posted on Wednesday, as it says on the calendar.

@GMGwen

Anonymous: If we want to explain in our reactions or paras how our District Partner's got low scores, can we just say they didn't show up in for PT at all?

That’s probably the best thing to say, is that they didn’t show up at all, yes!
